We have been planning, for the last 18 months, to dip a ‘paw’ into France. Let us explain. Bare West Events identified a naturist site near Nantes suitable for a Bare West visit and, after a number of English to French (and back again) messages, meetings and site visits, we have now finalised the trip.
 

So, Bare West have sought expressions of interest from people who would wish to come along to CGO naturist Club in Couëron. This is a members’ site approx. 10 miles from the City of Nantes (approx. 2hrs from St Malo) with room for campers in tents, caravans and vans. The dates are Thursday 13th June – Thursday 20th June 2024.

We have planned a mixture of a things to do. On Thursday when you arrive the Club will serve apéritifs. On Friday we will hold a cheese and wine evening and then on Saturday we, along with the Club, will serve up a gala meal complete with disco. On Sunday afternoon we have planned a guided tour of Nantes. 

The site is a great, rustic venue with large club house complete with a massive log fire. A heated swimming pool, sauna, BBQs and all the normal campsite facilities you would expect. During the day we will have free tea and coffee, loads of games to play and, of course, loads of loungers to sit on around the pool.
 

Numbers are very limited and we expect to be oversubscribed. Day visitors and dogs are also welcome. This will be the first time such a tour has been planned and we expect a lot of interest in the venture both from the UK and French naturist establishments.
