BareCamp 2023 - What is it, and what's planned?

BareCamp 2023 is a weeklong naturist event with planned clothes off at 1200hrs on Monday 4th September and clothes back on at 1200hrs the following Monday (11th September). This gives everyone a potential full week of naturism within a lovely, farm setting. The location is Thorney Lakes - a large farm/campsite, near Langport, Somerset. The site is very large, very rural and comes with two well stocked fishing lakes. The entire campsite can be enjoyed, including the fishing lakes. We just ask that you don’t go off site naked.

During the week we have organised various forms of entertainment, activities and outside visits which are also naked if you so wish. Details of these are still in the early planning stages. However, we will be having craft sessions, sporting activities including a 5k/10k run on Saturday, a film show, airgun shooting, fishing competition, silent discos and even a Bavarian-themed Oompah night with Baron Von Schmidt.

On site we have a fully licensed bar with Mike, one of the team, performing head barman duties providing everyone with good, locally produced ales and cider at very reasonable prices.

Shân, another member of the Team, will be managing "Bare Butties", a catering stall offering breakfast rolls, sandwiches, cakes and hot drinks throughout the day to supplement the outside caterers who come in to provide the evening meal.

Dogs are welcome and if you wish to be on a quiet pitch just let us know and we will find you a suitable pitch away from the crowds. Off the ground fire pits are allowed and available for hire along with wood and marshmallows for evening get togethers with friends.
